I've asked myself that question a few times, not just in this situation either. I've always wondering just how common or how unusual this interest of mine is. But to answer your question, no, I don't think Kyle has a wetlook thing like I do. We've been good friends for a few years and especially when we were kids he'd do all the usual stuff - water fights, playing in the rain, the usual kid stuff - but I never had an impression that he was into it the same way that I am.
