What to Wear for a Pool Party?

Going to a pool party you will find that it is quite easy to find the right outfit, because pretty much anything goes.

As the party begins you may be dry for a while, or only get partially wet. Over time your clothes get splashed more and more, before you get pushed in and join the fun in the pool.

Bring several outfits so you can change into dry clothes a few times during the party. Keep one dry set for the way home.

Pick clothes that look and feel good when dry and in the water. Try them on at home in the bath or shower.

As footwear you can best wear flip flops, or socks and clean canvas shoes, because your footwear will become wet.

Whether you opt for jeans and a tee, or something fancy, you will fit right in, because pool parties are the ultimate in casual party atmospheres.

Your outfit should be very lightweight and fun to swim in. Choose cosy soft fabrics. Make sure it is unlined so it doesn't trap air or water pockets.
